In the following, you will read how we handle personal data that we obtain on the basis of your consent or on the basis of the legal basis for processing personal data. This policy has been prepared by SM – Transport spedition s.r.o. in order to comply with the information obligation under Article 13 of the GDPR.

3. WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF THE PERSONAL DATA?
Personal and contact data comes from telephone and e-mail enquiries.
4. FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS CLIENTS’ PERSONAL DATA?
We process the personal data of clients for the purpose of fulfilling the concluded contracts, i.e. for the purpose of processing the order and responding to the enquiry sent mainly via the contact form. For the purpose of fulfilling the contract, we communicate with the client via the contact details provided. If the client has agreed to the use of the contact data for sending commercial communications, then we also use the data for sending commercial communications. The client can unsubscribe at any time.
5. WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE PERSONAL DATA?
We process personal data manually and automatically and it is intended only for authorized employees of SM – Transport spedition s.r.o.
6. COOKIES
We use cookies to personalise content, provide social media features and analyse our traffic. We share information about how you use our website with our social media and analytics partners. Partners may combine this information with other information you have provided to them or that they have obtained as a result of your use of their services. The Site also uses Google Analytics, a tool designed for data analysis.
7. ADVERTISING SYSTEMS USED
On our website www.sm-trans.cz we use the advertising systems of the Sklik service operated by Seznam.cz, a.s. and Google’s advertising system, Google AdWords. These systems allow us to present our products to visitors who have already shown interest in them as part of remarketing and retargeting. Through these systems it is also possible to display the website in paid search results.
8. RETENTION PERIOD FOR PERSONAL DATA
We retain personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship with the client and for as long as necessary to fulfil the legal basis or until consent is withdrawn. Thereafter, we delete the data or use it only to the extent that it does not require further consent.
9. HOW DO WE PROTECT DATA?
We protect your data with available technical and organisational measures in accordance with the law or other relevant legislation. We protect personal data by means of security features such as encrypted communication, security passwords, reliable antiviruses, contractual confidentiality and a professional approach. We are only obliged to provide your data in the event of a request from state authorities such as the Police and state authorities for the purpose of carrying out inspections.
10. CLIENT ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA
The client has the right to obtain access to personal data from the controller. By sending an enquiry to doprava@sm-trans.cz, the client receives all information about the processing of personal data and also has the right to request the rectification of inaccurate or incorrect data, if any. The client has the right to erasure if the archiving period necessary to fulfil the purpose of the contract has expired, to restriction of processing and to object if he/she considers that the processing of the data does not comply with the GDPR.
This policy takes effect on 20 February 2023 and is available online at www.sm-trans.cz. SM – Transport spedition s.r.o. reserves the right to change this Policy.
